Lavender & Tropical: Real Wedding at Chambers Bay

Garfield & Eddie got married this past July at Chambers Bay Golf Course.  It was a gorgeous day overlooking the Puget Sound.  The couple chose lavender at their main color and was then inspired by tropical flowers in bold colors like red, yellow, orange, and green.  It was so fun to work with this color palette and create something unique for their day.

The grooms both wore orchid boutonnieres made of orange cymbidium orchids and
purple mokara orchids.

We made a pillow of green button mums and ti leaves with an orchid accent for the ring bearer to carry.

The female attendants carried bouquets of yellow pincushion protea, purple mokara orchids, red roses, orange cymbidium orchids, green ball dianthus, red hypericum berries, and tropical foliage.

For the ceremony we created an arch of curly willow and tropical blooms coordinating with those used down the aisle and in the bouquets.  We hung square vases of tropical flowers down the aisle.

The aisle arrangement moved to the tables to complete a trio centerpiece consisting of submerged pincushion protea and submerged cymbidium orchids.

Orange cymbidium orchids topped the cake.

Many congratulations to Garfield & Eddie.  We loved working with you!

Thank you Tasha Owen Photography for all the images in this post.

Thanks to you, Jen. You got it from the start and surpassed expectations. The flowers were one of the most talked-about things at the wedding and looking back at these photos, it’s no wonder!
