Sweet Pea & Orchid Boutonniere

According to the Oxford English Dictionary, a boutonnière is a floral decoration worn by men, typically a single flower or bud. The word comes from the French word for buttonhole, which is the British term for a boutonnière.

Okay, I admit it…I am slightly addicted to sweet peas!  Whenever I see them at market I want to buy them if just to enjoy them on my desk for the week.  Boutonniere number 41 of the year is sweet peas with james storei orchids and a sprig of grevillea.
